Gale Force Wins was hired by http://defsecatlantic.ca/ to be the official podcasters right from the show floor. The #DEFSEC Atlantic Podcast was a series of conversations with attendees to #DEFSEC2022. Over the course of 2 days 35 videos were recorded edited and posted during the show.
DEFSEC Atlantic is presented by the Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association, and it a major networking opportunity for the Aerospace, Defence and Security industries. Gale Force Wins Media Corporation took the opportunity to record conversations around the themes currently being discussed at the show and sharing these conversations to their social media channels. These conversations recorded at the show bring the excellent discussions online so that a much wider audience can gain value from them for months and possibly years after,
Gale Force Wins travelled to Budapest: 12 Interviews
Gale Force Wins travelled on location to Budapest, Hungary to record 12 interviews with Canadians working in Hungary. Over the course of 9 days 12 formal video interviews were recorded and a plethora of video content around the city.

#MASS22 conference for Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association
From July 28-29, 2022, the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA) hosted the MASS Conference (MASS22) at the Delta St. John’s in Newfoundland. MASS22 focused on the challenges associated with both northern and maritime environments. Gale Force Wins was there and recorded numerous conversations with key stakeholders.
NLCA 2022 Conference
The communication and exchanges of ideas with other construction professionals is integral to the future success of the construction industry in our province.
NLCA along with our 2022 Conference Chair, Derek Brown hosted the annual conference at the Delta from October 27-29, 2022. A line-up of top-rate speakers, innovative exhibitor trade show, events and Awards Gala, this playlist gives an excellent cross section of the conversations that were had.
Over the course of 3 days 36 formal video interviews were recorded to allow the NLCA to extend the reach of their conversations online for months to come.

Building Newfoundland and Labrador
Whether it is a thriving business or a house to raise a family, the art of building is impressive and key to the success of a society.
The “Building Newfoundland and Labrador” podcast is a celebration of those that contribute to the very bricks and mortar of our community. We are privileged to work with the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association (NLCA) to highlight and showcase this impressive industry with special lenses on the endless opportunities for youth and underrepresented groups.
How it happened – from the initial discussion with the senior leadership on the NLCA around membership growth, retention, and outreach we were able to storyboard and produce the first 60-minute episode (which featured a collage of four separate conversations) in under 30 days and then kept the cadence of conversation going until today. They are our anchor client.
Force 8 Home Towners
Sometimes the story is too good to miss.
In this series Gale Force Wins joined the deployed ships of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) to talk to their number one asset – the sailors. The HMCS Harry DeWolf was on Drug Interdiction Operations in the Caribbean and the HMCS Montreal was supporting the war effort in the Ukraine in the Mediterranean Sea and Gale Force Wins was there. Force 8 is the Beaufort Wind Scale number for – you guessed it – a Gale.
How it happened – From an initial discussion with senior RCN Officers about a desire to tell the stories of the sailors in the Royal Canadian Navy – storyboarding, planning, booking flights, packing AV gear – to traveling to the Islands of Crete and Turks and Caicos – embarking on two warships – to producing 60 high-quality video and audio episodes – the whole process unfolded in under 6 weeks (in the midst of COVID 19 travel protocols).
Making Waves
Not everybody has an ability to get to an International Defence and Security Trade Show but Gale Force Wins did and then told the world about what happened through the voices of the key people in the room. The “Making Waves” Podcast was the brainchild of a very forward-thinking Canadian company, Genoa Design International, and Gale Force Wins.
The concept was to set up in a booth on the Trade Show floor to start a conversation. This very unique approach immediately became a focal point of the show. This had never been done before in a Defence and Security Trade Show in Canada and was so successful that Gale Force Wins was hired by the event organizers to do it on a larger scale for the follow on show.
How it happened – From the initial discussion with the Genoa Design International forward thinking and creative marketing team Gale Force Wins worked hand in glove on booth design and technical setup – organizing guests – to the flawless execution of engaging 26 key stakeholders in a level of discussion that is still active and informative 12 months later.
